Budapest Card – brand-new service content, modern design and intensive sales

The foundation of the Budapest Card system, purchasable with a 48- or 72-hour validity, is free public transport and discounts, which tourism service providers offer to holders of Budapest Card. The BTO has introduced a totally restructured Budapest Card onto the market in 2009. One of the core elements of the renewal and product development process was the formation of modern, experience-based services adjusted to international demands, in the course of which several different new and exciting venues and programmes were built into the Budapest Card. Parallel with changes in content, the Budapest Card has undergone a dramatic renewal which has also impacted on associated appearances, promotional tools and ad designs. What is more, in 2009 the product received its own microsite at www.budapest-card.com.

Annually, nearly 80,000 tourists choose Budapest Card while staying in Budapest.
